Test model for Khabalites

Yep, here is the test model.Tried to keep the same dirty, banged up look. Paint is drying still. need to do highlights on the hair, bones, and finish the vials in the back.

Update: 3 raiders and a ravager COMPLETE (sans basing )

I think they look rather snazzy. Its going to look really good with a group of them. I need to work on basing, but I am not sure what kind I am going to go with. Also, need to come up with a name for the khabal.

Got this ugly beast washed and highlighted...here it is in all of its rundown, busted glory:

While finishing this I started working on some other stuff:

Been a while.... got a little burned out on nurgle...Dusted off the Dark Eldar and tested a scheme!

Here we go with my test scheme so far. Need to get a few more pots of wash for the final portions:

Started with black primer, then white primer on the top parts:

Next, started with some other colors (boltgun for metal, ended up with mechrite red as well) :

Final base colors:

Then I started to sponge some grey:

Then sponged some boltgun over the grey:

Next step: Wash the hell out of it, then pick out some highlights.

New updates:

Been working on some infantry. I have a shitty phone camera. You miss a lot of the good stuff here, but get the idea. These look a little chalky in the photos. They dont look chalky at all in person. Oh well. They still need a lot of work but got main coloration I am looking for done. Lots of experimentation here.let me know what you think!
